Welcome to our EO Shops Local website, which serves as an online resource hub and marketplace for our local business community!  The City of East Orange is enjoying a true rebirth right now and the businesses featured on this site are at the heart of our progress.

As an East Orange native, I have had the pleasure of growing up, raising my family and becoming a local business owner in one of the best communities to live, work and play!  Under my administration, we have taken great strides to become a safer, cleaner, more economically vibrant and inclusive community.

This website, created by the Department of Policy, Planning and Development, was designed to create synergy between emerging and established businesses and customers, both old and new.

​

It also will provide technical assistance and resources such as grant opportunities and programs to increase the sustainability and growth of our small businesses, which make up the fabric of our neighborhoods and fuel our local economy.

The resiliency of our businesses through COVID-19 has been remarkable, and more than ever, now is the time to invest in the economic revitalization of our city.  The next time you need to shop or dine, I encourage you to think East Orange first and more often.  Collectively, our spending dollars can have a tremendous impact in our community.
